Your baby has grown into a toddler. Now they are starting to walk, talk, explore, discover, and (perhaps annoyingly) learn that they don't actually have to listen to your every word or do everything you say. They can make their own choices. And this can lead to conflict in your house. Daily battles and struggling to get through the simplest of situations.
Now you have to start teaching them how to behave. But how? And how do you know if the choices you are making around discipline are the right ones for your child? What can you do to get these undesirable behaviours to stop? How can you reduce the number of battles in your household? How can you bring harmony back into your life?
What if I told you it didn't have to be a struggle? You could reduce the stress of knowing if you are doing the right thing for your child by following an approach backed by research and science. And even better than that, it is an approach that works, an approach that feels good, an approach that sets your child up for life and strengthens the connection between you.

Who am I anyway?

Shondelle Watts

Hi there. This is me, still in my pj's, teeth and hair not brushed, sleep in my eyes. But the smile, and the joy behind it, are genuine. Things weren't always this way. When my son was born I found myself suddenly in over my head, struggling to keep on top of all the things that went along with being a stay at home mum, feeling overwhelmed a lot of the time. I felt like I was losing myself, my own identity, to the role of motherhood. My background is in science, research, and education, so I love to learn, investigate, and experiment. I dove head first into trying to sort this parenting business out, learning all that I could to find the best way. I put my all into it, even if it was just to find the best way to clean a toilet. I wanted to master the day to day so that I could feel in control of my own life again. And so 'Mumma & More' was born. An outlet for me to share what I have learnt to help you become a mumma, and more.

So what are you waiting for?
